'Diamonds in the Rough'
'Diamonds in the Rough' 117 min. Comedy Drama mentored by David Morrissey (actor / director) and currently with Nuthatch Films.
Three inept small time crooks are forced to bide their time in a rundown Spanish farm awaiting an elusive and wayward hippie (Troy) who is blissfully unaware that the Jag he’s driving hides a stash of diamonds, belonging to unstable villain Ron. Ron’s paranoia kicks in when he discovers a link between Troy and his past and all are about to discover the true value of diamonds, olives and friendship.

Bob wakes from a coma with a sudden love of Proust, art-house films and sense that his life is not the one he wants to be a part of. For white trash Trish, his wife, this is an unwelcome change and despite being in an affair with Bob’s best mate she concocts a plan to put Bob back in a coma and get her old Bob back.

The Chav’s seemingly run this down at heel seaside town, but now somebody is sending a warning, carved into the flesh of a dead hoodie ‘Next’.

For John, the day just goes from bad to worse, sacked by his agent and late for a children's party as Nobby the Clown. John is about to come face to face with his own failure and is about to lose his APC licence (Association of Party Clowns).
